CLUB NEWS

  • New Meeting Place: We will now be holding our Meetings at the Golden Lion (Known also as Zaka's) Ash Street Bradley WV14 8UP, Scooter friendly pub as it's run by Shell the partner of an ex Delta Tony Price.  Great Parking for the Scooters to the front of the Pub.  We will be meeting on the first Thursday of the month, however please note that the April Meeting of the 2nd will be carried over to the next week of the 8th due to the Easter Holidays, all welcome please feel free to pop down & join us for a beer or two!!
  • Following Our 4th AGM it was decided that Part & Flicka will continue to run the club for the next 12 months.  We are also pleased to welcome two new Members Charlie Hughes & Kevin Holyhead.
  •  A Big Thanks to everyone who attended our 2009 Xmas Party, Great Band, Great DJ & Great Atmosphere. Thanks to Ultimate Madness, Spongey & the Management & Bar Staff at Tipton sports Academy for making the night go down so well.
  • We would like to Announce that as of September Mary resigned from the No.1. position. For the short term Flicka & Part Will take over the running of the club.
  • We would like to Announce that at our AGM on the 5th March Flicka (Andy) decided to step down as No.1, The Club would like to take this opportunity to thank him for all his hard work and tireless commitment he has given to the Club and its Members over the last three years.  At this AGM Mary was voted in as our New No.1.  We would like to wish her well in her new role.
  • Thanks to everyone who attended our 2008 Xmas Do and thanks to all those who had a go on the raffle and auction, we raised over £160. This will be split between Acorns Hospice and Leukaemia Research
  • All through 2007 we were raising money for charity and on the 27th December we were proud to present a cheque for £2500 to Birmingham Childrens Hospital. Well done to everyone and a big thank you, from everyone in the Blackcountry Scooter Club, to all those who supported us during the fund raising.
